Why does society have to choose who we can or cannot date? The answer is; it can't. YOUR the one who decides, not other people and definitely not social media. Who cares what people think of your relationship... is it really their concern? No, if your in an interracial relationship you should be every bit of proud. You discovered diversity and overcame judgment from what people thought was the 'perfect society'. Don't let anyone discourage you from what you want or love cause if you do you'll never be able to think for yourself.

I'd like to take this day to appreciate Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. for his strong leadership on to changing segregation to integration. As hard as it was, he never gave up... the toughest situations made him want to change the biggest and toughest problem to fix; racism. MLK went through blood, sweat, and tears to try to change what he was seeing all around him which was black vs. whites. MLK was a leader, a leader trying to change the fact that everyone hated everyone because of their skin color. We can be one of those leaders... just need to speak up. Someone who doesn't speak up against hate continues to live in a world of hate. I don't want that, do you?

Pasadena Police Probe Alleged Hate Crime Against Interracial Couple « CBS Los Angeles

I just don't understand people; like get a life and leave other people's alone. It's not YOUR life, so how does it have any affect on YOU? It doesn't, interracial couples are getting hated on everyday whether we see it or not. This needs to be CHANGED.

We like who we like, we all have our preferences...I can admit that I do and I'm sure you guys do too. We can't help who we like because that's our choice no one else's; however you don't need to share with the world who you don't like. For instance, you could be Caucasian and say that you only like Asians...not Mexicans. You shouldn't say that around other people, it's not respectful. I'm not perfect and unfortunately I made this mistake before realizing what I said. Of course,I meant it as my preference choice; definitely NOT racist or prejudice.  However, that still doesn't make it right and it was a mistake. But don't get the two mixed up,  it's who you like or you just don't like that person because they are a different color. They are two COMPLETELY different things...in my case it was my preference. Either way, keep it to yourself because it can hurt people's feelings.

Good Morning, afternoon, or night... wherever you are in the country is a new  something in the world. That new something can be a new change that we need in this world! Interracial love is the most beautiful thing I have seen; however it becomes more of a secret to the world because of hateful and hurtful comments from prejudice people. This NEEDS to change... speak up today... don't wait until tomorrow or years from now.

Do you know how many times you have to say stop before someone ACTUALLY stops? It's crazy to think how many people that are dating outside of their own race has to stop the racist and prejudice comments or ignorant jokes. Today, I took my Sociology class and it really opened my eyes up to how important this blog is and how it could potentially help or improve the world. My professor says we are all leaders but it's time that I started acting like one. Racism isn't going to go away by itself....I know how tough the situation can be for all interracial lovers... whether it be with your family, friends, or even higher authority figures. Today I was proud enough to say in front of the class that I have a boyfriend that's African American and I couldn't be any happier that I did. My professor was saying good for me and that I started this blog. You should be proud too, and be able to say what you need to say! Don't keep it in, because we are all people. There is NO color, there is NO difference, there SHOULD be NO racism. We, as a society, can change this... step by step. Share what you need to say by sharing this blog or even comment so I can respond. Help bring down the wall of racism!

I'm Back!

Hey fellow Interracial Lovers! Sorry I haven't updated in FOREVER... that is bad on my part because a lot of you couples inspire me to keep this topic going! It really makes me happy to see so many interracial couples around me and I have seen many. It's so darn cute and I hope you all continue to spread the word about how much it means to each other. Color is not a word, doesn't mean a thing... there is no definition. It's defined by itself but my true definition of color is equality. Mix it up!
